Job Description Our client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer to be based in Sacramento, California. This role will support a wide variety of water projects with a special emphasis on dams and levees. Job Responsibilities: Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.
Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling. Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise. Leads technical business development work.
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. Approves and signs off on work. Leader in one or more areas of technology.
Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects Education and Experience 5- 10 years water resources experience Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with geotechnical background/training required Experience performing geotechnical civil design for Water/Wastewater and/or levees and dams projects Active California PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
