Manager - Test Engineering $90,000 - $120,000 Oklahoma City, OK SUMMARY Responsible for supervision and leadership of employees and assignments regarding test stand procedures which comply with all quality and quantity, safety and housekeeping standards. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and support the Global Test Group establishing specifications and test standards.

Supervise and lead all test stand projects. Responsible for department processes and equipment, employees, safety and housekeeping and meeting production quantity and quality standards. Responsible for development and adherence to the procedures, policies and instructions of the company's Quality Management System related to end-of-line testing.

Responsible for developing the proficiency and capacity of the end-of-line test stand equipment including recommending optimum utilization of manpower and equipment. Responsible for developing and maintaining the Test Engineering Department including hiring and firing, training and development, holding employees accountable and rewarding group employees. Recommends and implements procedures to improve production techniques, equipment performance, and product quality.

Organizes activities for maximizing operational efficiencies including reviewing equipment requirements and manpower, based on production needs and line efficacy. Assures established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are adhered to. Troubleshooting challenges and facilitates problem-solving teams.

Assist with quote process of new programs and feasibility reviews. Provide leadership in Research & Development for future programs by establishing test and communication protocols. Provides routine status reports and updates to customer engineering departments management as to the progress on test projects and launches.

SUPERVISORY AND LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES Directly leads up to 10 employees. Fulfills supervisory responsibilities adhering to the organization's policies and applicable laws. Interviewing, hiring, and training employees.

Planning, assigning, improving, and directing work. Appraising performance. Rewarding and disciplining employees. Addressing complaints and resolving issues.

QUALIFICATIONS education Bachelor's degree (Master's degree a plus). work experience +4 years leadership experience. +10 years of experience in test and development.

Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, chassis, suspension and driveline components. Metal removal processes: machining, grinding, etc. Heat treating. Have worked with equipment supported by WMA or VMC.

Knowledge of National Instruments software LabView and test stands. computer experience Ability to operate a laptop or PC computer. Word processing, spreadsheet and database software applications.
