Job Title: Business Development Manager NA Salary Grade: TBD FLSA Status: Salary-Exempt Reports To: Managing Director, NA Date Approved: 02-10-2024 JOB SUMMARY: The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing North America group Tier 1 and OEM sales development processes through acquisitions and oversight. This includes acquisitions and the development of new business within the NA industry markets as well as supporting daily management of programs, commercial, and growth of existing business at a profitable level.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and deploy new sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets that align with NA strategic vision. - Directly achieve business acquisition targets. - Leverage network and business partner relationships to create sales opportunities.

- Develop external customer relationships through effective communication, courtesy, that exceeds expectations. - Analyze market data for product fitment and propose focus areas for business development. - Effectively manage conflict situations while in negotiations.

- Ability to make quick effective decisions. - Coordinate commercial activities throughout the organization, such as engineering changes, quality improvements, quoting, negotiations and reporting. - Manage internal/external data, maintain internal sales systems, and track/report changes to leadership.

- Drive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement efforts. - Function in a highly collaborative environment where flexibility and teamwork are critical to success. - Achieve and exceed financial objectives including cost analysis, margin enhancement and feedback to internal teams for pricing strategies.

- Works with NA Leadership to develop core processes and procedures, as continuous improvement methods that align with strategic vision. - Maintains an appropriate level of conventionality and conformance to corporate culture. Relates well with others, including, as appropriate, peers, supervisor, subordinates, customers, and suppliers while maintaining excellent attendance.

Assumes appropriate role(s) when working in a team environment. Responds appropriately to unexpected and/or continuing situations, which develop in the work environment. - Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATIONAL & TRAINING: - Proven track record of new business growth in a Plastics Automotive environment. - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or Engineering is required. A Master's degree preferred.

- Strong business acumen. - Minimum of ten years of overall direct professional experience with proven sales experience. - Experience communicating directly with senior leadership (C-Suite team).

- Proficiency using Microsoft Office is required. - Solid understanding of the complete sales cycle process from prospecting to closing. - Experience independently developing and executing innovative strategies for new sales lead generation.

- Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required. - Effective verbal, non-verbal, negotiation and written communication skills are required. - Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers is required.

- Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is required. - Experience in a manufacturing organization is preferred. - Travel may be required up to 50% of time domestically and internationally.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: - Sales experience in automotive (Plastics) - Analytical skills to independently evaluate and develop solutions - Time Management Skills - Attention to Detail - Deadline Oriented - Ability to Work with a Diverse Team - Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment LANGUAGE SKILLS: - Ability to communicate articulately and effectively, both oral and verbal, with clients, and all levels within the organization. TRAVEL: - Open to travel domestically and internationally with valid ID through State and U.S borders. - Travel at night/late evening hours outside of U.
