As a Senior Protection/Power Systems Engineer in Engineering Services, you'll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide. Required Qualifications:o Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant disciplineo 12+ years of experience with electrical power systems with a focus in protective relay settingso Ability to work independently, accepting ownership of assigned responsibilitieso Willing to travel as neededo Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skillso Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilitieso Ability to work cooperatively in a team environmento Background check results satisfactory to SELo Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:o Experience with electric power transmission, distribution, and/or generation systemso Experience being a part of and/or leading a project teamProtection Specialization:o Experience creating and reviewing protective relay settings for transmission & distribution utilities, substations, generation facilities, and industrial clientso Experience including (but not limited to) line, bus, transformer, autotransformer, and feeder relay settingso Deep level of understanding of zones of protection, instrument transformers, and protective relaying schemeso Proven hands-on experience with tools like ETAP, Aspen, SKM, coupled with a strong foundation in electrical power systems.

o Experience reviewing design packages including one-lines, three-lines, AC schematics, DC schematics, wiring diagrams, bill of material, SCADA points listso Demonstrated ownership of each stage of the settings creation process, calculations, and delivery of high-quality workLocation Open to all offices within our Western US locations.Competitive pay. Pay Range DataBoise, ID, Pullman, WA, Provo, UT, Phoenix AZ: $100,900 - $168,100. Beaverton, OR: $105,900 - $176,500. Irvine, CA, Vacaville, CA, Lynnwood, WA: $116,100 - $193,300.

Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. The pay range may differ in other locations based on cost of labor. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
