The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following: Designing machines from concept through completion Creating custom automation and robotic work cell equipment Finding solutions to problems Seeing jobs through to production Working with machinists, assemblers and electrical personnel Working as a team Managing projects and/or projects within time constraints The background of the successful candidate must include the following: A mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering degree Two plus years of custom automated equipment machine design experience from concept to completion SolidWorks experience An understanding of machine tool, material science, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts An understanding of machine design and power transmission 3D drawing experience Ability to be a creative self-starter Ability to anticipate and solve problems A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card A residence within 45 minutes.
