Learn what makes QTS a unique place to grow your career!SUMMARYThe Senior Manager, Learning and Development is a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive leadership development programs. This position entails crafting strategies for succession planning, new leader development, executive leadership development, mid-level leader training, and ongoing leadership development.

The primary objective is to foster a culture of continuous growth and talent advancement, ensuring the organization has a robust leadership pipeline to meet both current and future needs.RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assignedDesign and execute onboarding programs specifically tailored to the needs of newly appointed leaders, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.Develop resources, training materials, and tools to support new leaders in understanding organizational culture, values, and expectations.

Provide ongoing coaching and support to new leaders to accelerate their integration and effectiveness within their teams and the broaderDevelop and maintain a strategic succession planning framework to identify and cultivate internal talent for key leadership roles.Collaborate closely with senior leadership and HR to assess future leadership needs and create tailored succession plans for different departments or business units.Implement processes for identifying high-potential individuals, assessing their readiness for advancement, and providing targeted development opportunities to prepare them for leadership roles.

Develop tailored training programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of mid-level leaders.Identify key competencies and areas for development among mid-level leaders and design targeted interventions to address these needs.Provide coaching and mentoring to mid-level leaders to support their growth and prepare them for increased responsibilities and leadership roles.

Create a comprehensive roadmap for ongoing leadership development, including workshops, seminars, coaching, and other learning opportunities.Partner with internal stakeholders and external resources to provide continuous learning experiences that align with the organization's goals and priorities.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing leadership development initiatives and adjust as needed to ensure maximum impact.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Seven or more years of proven experience in leadership development, succession planning, and talent management, preferably in a corporate setting.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree in Business Administration or Organizational DevelopmentKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.

Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of adult learning principles, leadership theories, and best practices in talent development.Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable development plans.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.Results-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and impact measurement.Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive them to completion.
